Anniversary Dinner

We're celebrating our 2 yrs anniversary of marriage.

Thank you! Thank you!

Can you imagine I survived for two years?  I thought I'm only going to keep him for a few months but oh boy, I lasted this long.

Question:  Where should you take your husband for dinner to celebrate your wedding anniversary, if your husband is a chef?

Answer:  Korean BBQ.

Why:  Because I said so!

The real answer to my question is because we both love Korean BBQ.  Its our anniversary right, so why not enjoy the food that we love to eat.  We both enjoy grilling and eating lots of BBQ, whether its Korean or not.  Even though my husband has a very high standard in food, we opted to go simple and comfort.

I ate two cups of rice.  And why I am telling you that?  Ha Ha.

My favorite.  Korean vegetable noodle.  If somebody would ask me which I like the best, the Filipino pancit or this, my answer is this.

Happy 5 1/2 yrs of being together.

Sushi for dinner

I'm so busy about life that I forgot about the death anniversary of my dad.  I feel so sad.  And guilty.  But I know that he understand. I hope.  :)  I hope that he won't haunts me on my sleep.  I know that he knows that no matter what happens, he'll always be in my heart.

I don't wanna start crying.  Enough about sad memories.  Anyway, after going to church to pray for the soul of my dad.  My husband and I went to Kenzo Sushi for lunch.   The food was so yummy.  Best part is, it's all you can eat.
The scallops was very well seasoned.  Simply delish.
I think this is the rainbow roll and orgasm roll.  With all the rolls that I ate, I don't know which one is which.
 Empty plate it is!
The shrimp was kinda bland, there was nothing great about it.
This is my favorite.  It melts in your mouth goodness.  It's perfect.
I want more!
I ordered this because if its name, Paris Hilton roll, i just wanna try it for fun. You know what, it turns out to be good.
I am so full that I wanna........

A day in Napa

Sitting here on the porch being ecstatic about whats in front of me, while feeling a cold breezy air slapping on my face, then suddenly, I think and wonder, what did I do to deserve such a good life.  My foot is aching as I write this but I'm not complaining. I hold a big smile on my face reminiscing about what happened this day.  Awaken by my husband at 6:10 in the morning and rushing me to get ready for an unplanned trip today. "We are going to Napa and St. Helena," he said.

After 45 minutes of non stop driving, we stopped by Mustards for a quick brunch.  I ordered Rabbit since I haven't tried it before but my conscience is hunting me now just 'cause - I love rabbits.

At Mustard Grill's front porch

My husband certainly knows where to go to in Napa.  He took me to Castello di Amorosa, a beautiful castle indeed. We took the wine tour and wine tasting, which is totally worth it.
Castello di Amorosa
Breathtaking view from the castle.
I can't resist myself not to take pictures with these beautiful sheep.
Grapes are the only fruit that I eat everyday. Its so sweet and juicy. These grapes ↓ aren't.  I guess these grapes are really meant for wine making.
Grapes heaven.
We also stopped by Culinary Institute of America, Dean and Deluca, Bottega, St. Francis winery and Napa downtown.
St. Francis winery wine and cheese tasting.
Morimoto for dinner is our last stop. The food is so good.  I will definitely come back.
Super delicious Toro Tartar .

This day is certainly one of the best.
Style that only Napa can give.

My weekend in Mexico

I spent my weekend in Ensenada, Mexico.  Why did I go to Ensenada instead of going to Cabo, Cancun and/or other famous places in Mexico? Because of this

Drugs that are cheap and no prescription needed, ohh la la.

Mexican seafood galore with matching ice cold Tequila.

Beautiful beach with sea lions in sight.

Cheap thrift store everywhere, makes me feel at home :)

Most importantly, the Churros!  Delicioso!!! I so want more.

I wouldn't mind going back to Ensenada.  I had FUN.
Gracias Mexico!

Just wanna brag about my new found lipstick love, MUFE Rouge Intense lipstick.  I fell in love with it the first time I tried it so I bought one for myself two weeks ago, then, a week later I ended buying another two.

When my honey cooks...

I'm still on the process of loooosing weight.  I think my husband is the culprit to my diet success.  I was 132lbs two months ago.  Two months after, I gain eight pounds. Instead of looooosing those excess baggage, I gain some.  What the heck! Now, I need to lose 20lbs.  Oh yes, that's a lot of pounds I still need to shed.

When my husband cooks for me, he really does it with love.  How can I resist these foods? Can u?

 Eggs benedict

Kobe Beef tartar

 Fig and Prosciutto salad
 Roasted Pork belly
Pasta with Uni sauce.

Seared Tuna salad

Salmon Carpaccio

I don't have nothing to complain.  I'm such a lucky wife!
